Here’s what you’ll need to bring this comforting dish to life. Feel free to make substitutions based on what you have in your pantry—cooking should be flexible!

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 2 cups alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add the cooked chicken to the skillet and sprinkle with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, chicken mixture, and alfredo sauce. Mix until everything is well coated.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheeses evenly over the top.
