- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
- 8 ounces penne pasta
- 2 cups alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the cooked chicken to the skillet and sprinkle with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, chicken mixture, and alfredo sauce. Mix until everything is well coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheeses evenly over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it sit for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
