Learn how to make delicious Creamy Jalapeño Popper Dip. Easy recipe with step-by-step instructions.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale

This dip proves that you don’t need an extensive list of ingredients to create something memorable. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4-5 jalapeños, seeded and diced (adjust for spice preference)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs (for topping)
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter (for topping)

If you’re feeling adventurous, you can substitute the cheddar with pepper jack for an extra kick or even add a handful of cooked bacon bits for a smoky flavor. This recipe is flexible, so feel free to make it your own.

Instructions

Creating this dip is as easy as can be, leaving you more time to enjoy the company of your guests:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, diced jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture into a baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs with melted butter, mixing until the breadcrumbs are coated.
  5. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the dip.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the dip is bubbling around the edges.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.

I like to play some of my favorite music while this bakes—it always reminds me of the lively kitchens I grew up in. The aroma from the oven will definitely get everyone excited for what’s to come.
