Learn how to make delicious Cheesy Garlic Biscuit Bombs. Easy recipe with step-by-step instructions.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup melted butter (for brushing)

If you’re out of cheddar cheese, feel free to experiment with different kinds like mozzarella or pepper jack for a little kick. And if fresh parsley isn’t on hand, dried herbs work just fine in a pinch.

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder.
  3. Using a pastry cutter or your fingertips, cut the cold butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Gently fold in the shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Pour in the milk and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; the dough should be slightly sticky.
  6. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently 3-4 times until it comes together.
  7. Roll out the dough to about 1/2-inch thickness and cut using a biscuit cutter or a glass.
  8. Place the biscuits on the prepared baking sheet, about an inch apart.
  9. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with the minced garlic and brush the tops of the biscuits generously.
  10. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
  11. Once out of the oven, brush with more garlic butter and sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired.

These steps are simple enough to follow, even if you’ve had a long day. Remember, it’s all about enjoying the process, not just the result.
